Homework

Homework is limited in first grade. Students put in a full academic day and are usually very tired when they get home. Reading 15 minutes per day is recommended. Occasionally children will be given a small project to do related to our curriculum and parents and other caregivers are encouraged to support the child in completing the assignment. Also on occasion children will be sent home with unfinished work to be completed with expected return date written on it.

FIRST HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENT:  PARENTS MUST READ THE HAPPY HOLLOW HANDBOOK AND SIGN THE PARENT ACKNOWLEDGEMENT PAGE ON PAGE 40.

STUDENT HANDBOOK

STUDENTS MUST READ THE STUDENT HANDBOOK WITH THEIR PARENTS AND SIGN THE STUDENT ACKNOWLEDGEMENT PAGE AT THE END OF THE HANDBOOK.

BOTH THESE PAGES MUST BE PRINTED AND SIGNED AND SENT IN TO THE CLASSROOM TEACHER BEFORE SEPTEMBER 30, 2018.
